Ashley Waguespack, MS, LOTR, holds a B.S. degree in Occupational Therapy from LSU Health Sciences Center and a Master of Health Care Management (M.S.) degree from the University of New Orleans. Ashley has been in private practice in Thibodaux since the Fall of 2004 and has worked in private pediatric facilities in New Orleans, Baton Rouge, and Torrance, California. In 2012, after owning a large pediatric practice, she transitioned to working in a smaller, more intimate environment in order to better serve the unique needs of children and their families.

Ashley is trained in Sensory Integration, PECS® – Picture Exchange Communication System, Therapeutic Listening, Handwriting Without Tears®, Tummy Time Method, and Beckman Oral Motor Assessment. In addition, she is a Certified Lactation Counselor with extensive experience supporting mother/infant dyads with feeding difficulties and Tethered Oral Tissue (TOTS). Ashley values the importance of collaborating with a team of professionals to support success of the dyad in their feeding journey, together with the team of experienced speech and occupational therapists passionate about serving clients in the community.

Ashley enjoys educating the community on the benefits occupational therapy for children of all ages. When Ashley is not spending time with her clients, she and her husband stay busy with their five children, three cats, and six chickens.
